Santa Monica Friday League Registration - 2.5.-2.9 | Low Intermediate (Summer '26 Season)
Join the Skyline Pickleball Friday 2.5-2.9 Low Intermediate Rotating Partners League in Santa Monica!
At Skyline Pickleball, our low intermediate division is for players rated between 2.5 and 2.49 based on the USA Pickleball Skill Rating Guide.
2.5–2.9 | Low Intermediate
You understand the fundamentals and are starting to play more competitively. You can sustain short rallies, hit medium-paced shots, and are learning proper court positioning. You still have frequent unforced errors but are actively improving. If you've played a handful of times and feel comfortable on the court, this is your division.
Over 8 weeks, you’ll get structured play, rotating partners, and a fun, social environment to improve your game.

Organized socials throughout the season.
Optional feedback sessions with the league manager to improve your play. Access to coaching staff at Pickletown.
A top-notch music playlist while you play 😉.
Rotating Partners Format:
Rotating Partners is all about mixing it up. Players sign up individually. Each week, you’ll play with different partners within your division—giving you the chance to meet new people, build community, and experience a variety of matchups.
During the regular season, you’ll be placed into small groups of 4–5 (there may be times we need to do 6) players and rotate partners each game, competing against others in your skill level.
Since this is an individual-based league, your performance each week contributes to your own ranking and standings. At the end of the season, we’ll have a playoffs tournament where players are paired based on their standings.
What to Bring:
Water (there will be a vending machine on-site, but no access to a water station).
Your paddle. If you don’t have one, you can rent one from us for $5 per session.
Your own balls if you’d like, but game balls will also be provided.
Spots are limited—once a division fills, registration will close. Please register for the division that best matches your skill level to help maintain fair and balanced play. We’re unable to move players between divisions once the league reaches capacity, and players registered in the wrong division may be removed without a refund.
Before registering, please review our Waiver & Release of Liability.
