Join the Skyline Pickleball Thursday High Intermediate Rotating Partners League in Santa Monica!
At Skyline Pickleball, our High Intermediate is for players rated between 3.0-3.4 based on the USA Pickleball Skill Rating Guide.
3.0–3.4 | High Intermediate
You're developing solid strokes and starting to think strategically. You can consistently get your serve and return in play, sustain medium-length dink rallies, and are beginning to understand the difference between the hard game and the soft game. You move toward the kitchen when the opportunity is there and are starting to vary your pace and shot selection.
Over 8 weeks, you’ll get structured play, rotating partners, and a fun, social environment to improve your game.

Organized and well-run sessions. You’ll receive your season schedule right from the start.
A welcoming, social community. If you can’t regulate your emotions and struggle to be a supportive partner and a pleasant opponent, Skyline is not the league for you!
Competitive but friendly gameplay.
Organized socials throughout the season.
Optional feedback sessions with the league manager to improve your play. Access to coaching staff at Pickletown.
A top-notch music playlist while you play 😉.
Rotating Partners Format:
Rotating Partners is all about mixing it up. Players sign up individually. Each week, you’ll play with different partners within your division—giving you the chance to meet new people, build community, and experience a variety of matchups.
During the regular season, you’ll be placed into small groups of 4–5 players (we may need to do groups of 6 sometimes) and rotate partners each game, competing against others in your skill level.
Since this is an individual-based league, your performance each week contributes to your own ranking and standings. At the end of the season, we’ll have a playoffs tournament where players are paired based on their standings.
What to Bring:
Water (there will be a vending machine on-site, but no access to a water station).
Your paddle. If you don’t have one, you can rent one from us for $5 per session.
Your own balls if you’d like, but game balls will also be provided.
Spots are limited—once a division fills, registration will close. Please register for the division that best matches your skill level to help maintain fair and balanced play. We’re unable to move players between divisions once the league reaches capacity, and players registered in the wrong division may be removed without a refund.
We cannot accommodate refunds once a purchase has been completed.
Before registering, please review our Waiver & Release of Liability.
