Join the Skyline Pickleball Tuesday 1.0-2.4 Beginner Rotating Partners League in Central LA!

At Skyline Pickleball, our beginner division is for players rated between 1.0 and 2.4 based on the USA Pickleball Skill Rating Guide. This is open to anyone, even those who have never played before! We’ll teach you all you need to learn.

1.0–2.49 | Beginner
New to pickleball or just getting started. You're learning the basics — consistent serves, getting the ball in play, and are working on following all rules. You may have minimal court experience and are still building consistency. This division is designed for players who want a supportive, low-pressure environment to develop their game.

Over 8 weeks, you’ll get structured play, rotating partners, and a fun, social environment to improve your game.

League Details:

  • 📍 Location: PIKL LA - 639 S La Brea Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90036.

  • 🗓 Duration: 8-week season, every Tuesday, July 21st - September 8th.

  • ⏰ Game Format and. Start Times: 90-minute sessions. You will alternate start times every other week between 7pm and 8:30pm.

  • 🔁 Rotating partners each week. You’ll have a minimum of three matches per day.

  • 🏆 Playoffs at the end of the season. Medals for the top 3 teams and prizes for the winners.

  • 💲 Early bird (ends June 29): $180 | Regular (ends July 15th): $190 | Late: $195

Rotating Partners Format:

Rotating Partners is all about mixing it up. Players sign up individually. Each week, you’ll play with different partners within your division—giving you the chance to meet new people, build community, and experience a variety of matchups.

During the regular season, you’ll be placed into small groups of 4-5 (there may be times we need to do 6) players and rotate partners each game, competing against others in your skill level.

Since this is an individual-based league, your performance each week contributes to your own ranking and standings. At the end of the season, we’ll have a playoffs tournament where players are paired based on their standings.

What to Bring:

  • Water.

  • Your paddle. If you don’t have one, you can rent one from us for $5 per session.

  • Your own balls if you’d like, but game balls will also be provided.

Spots are limited—once a division fills, registration will close. Please register for the division that best matches your skill level to help maintain fair and balanced play. We’re unable to move players between divisions once the league reaches capacity, and players registered in the wrong division may be removed without a refund.
